Background and Award Information

The California Energy Commission (CEC) recently announced the upcoming availability of equipment incentives for DC fast chargers through the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project 2.0 (CALeVIP 2.0) Fast Charge California Project block grant. Incentives can cover 100% of approved costs and include $55,000 per charging port with power greater than 150 kW or less than 275 kW and $100,000 per charging port with power greater than or equal to 275 kW.

Important Dates

Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to projects that have issued a permit and final utility service design. Applications open July 8, 2025 and close September 20, 2025.
