Background and Award Information
The Colorado Energy Office has announced the opening of the state’s Local Implementation, Mitigation, and Policy Action (Local IMPACT) Accelerator which will provide a total $50 million in grants to support local governments with policy adoption to bolster local resilience, reduce emissions, and advance other state priorities, such as improved air quality. Local IMPACT allocates approximately $200,000 per award for policy adoption, and $1.8 million per award for implementation.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible entities include local governments, defined as cities, counties, cohorts led by cities/counties, and Tribal governments.
