Background and Award Information

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has announced $10M in funding as part of Florida’s Diesel Emissions Mitigation Program for the purchase of new Class 4-7 garbage trucks to replace eligible Class 4-7 diesel trucks. Eligible applicants include Florida county governments, municipalities, and non-government entities that provide waste collection services for a Florida county or municipality under contract.
