Background and Award Information

The Maryland Energy Administration is now accepting applications for the FY26 Electric School Bus Grant Program. $4.9M of funding is available to help public school districts shift to electric school buses and related infrastructure. Grants will cover up to 120% of the incremental costs of eligible vehicles with up to 30% of the total project funding request available for charging infrastructure.
