Background and Award Information

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) has received funding from the US Department of Energy to fund projects in the areas of energy planning, energy efficiency, workforce development, and energy resiliency. GEFA has a total of $566,286 available in funding for 2025 with projects able to receive $50,000 - $150,000 with a minimum 10% cost match required.

Eligible Applicants

State agencies, local governments, public colleges, universities, and technical colleges, public schools, and non-profit organizations.
