Background and Award Information
The Maryland Energy Administration has announced the Community Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Program for FY 2025. The purpose of the Program is to increase access to affordable and reliable electric vehicle (EV) charging networks and reduce transportation greenhouse gas emissions in low and moderate income, overburdened, and underserved communities in Maryland. The Program accomplishes this by providing grant funding through three Areas of Interest: 1 - EV Infrastructure Planning, 2-Make-Ready Installations, and 3 - EVSE Installations.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants include Maryland businesses, nonprofits, and state, tribal, and local government entities.
Important Dates
The program is noncompetitive and awards will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications will be accepted until March 28, 2025, or until all funding has been awarded.
