Background and Award Information

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is now accepting proposals for the Open Energy Innovation Program designed to fund projects that drive greenhouse gas reductions, equity in energy projects, and energy affordability. Applications should be for projects that have the potential to be scalable and replicated to benefit new sectors of the economy and provide a public benefit to support Maryland’s energy and environmental goals. Proposals must be different from other MEA FY26 programs.
