Background and Award Information

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) has announced the FY26 Maryland SolarAPP+ Implementation Grant Program to offset the costs associated with implementing the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory solar permitting software.

Eligible Applicants

Maryland counties and municipalities are eligible to apply for the $3.9 million in funding available and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Important Dates

Applications are due by January 31, 2026, or until funding is exhausted.
