Background and Award Information

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Technology Center (MassCEC) seeks proposals for projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, or mitigate impacts of climate change at eligible public kindergarten through twelfth grade  school districts and educational collaboratives in Massachusetts. A total of $52.5 million in grant funding is available as part of MassCEC’s Green School Works program, with awards ranging from a minimum of $50,000 to a maximum of $5 million.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible schools must serve a significant percentage of students from low-income families.
