Background and Award Information

The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) and Merrimack Valley Transit (MeVa) have issued an RFP to develop a business plan for an electric passenger ferry serving the Merrimack Valley. MeVa was awarded funding for the construction of two solar powered ferryboats and will use the Ferryboat Business Plan to estimate additional funding needs and guide service design for ferry operations.
