San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) has announced that it will be prequalifying bidders for an upcoming overhead charging project at its Kearny Mesa Division. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $22 and $25 million.

The associated Invitation for Bids is expected to be released in December 2025. Prequalification packages are due October 23, 2025.
