Background and Award Information

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has announced the 2025 round of the Municipal Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure grant program. The program provides funding for municipalities to install ZEV infrastructure, including Level 2 and direct current fast charge electric vehicles supply equipment and equipment for dispensing hydrogen to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. A total of $5 million in funding is available for this round of the program. Applications will be accepted until February 27, 2026 or until funding is exhausted.
