Background and Award Information

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority has announced the opening of Round 2 of the Clean Mobility Program. The program provides competitive funding to local governments, transit operators, community-based organizations, or employers with more than 1,000 employees, for scalable demonstration projects that advance innovative clean mobility options to address transportation challenges. Eligible technologies include electric bikes and electric scooters, on-demand EV ride-hailing, and small-scale, on-demand electric public transit services, or shared EV options.
