Background and Award Information

New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit) has issued an expression of interest for Services Related to Battery Electric Bus (BEB) Equipment, Infrastructure, and Microgrids as NJ Transit intends to expand their current fleet of 8 BEBs to approximately 1,000 BEBs over the next 10 years. The selected vendor will be responsible for the design, build, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and management services for electric vehicle charging equipment, related infrastructure and supporting software, networking, and communications systems. There is a 13% SBE/DVOB goal for this project.
