Background and Award Information

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) has re-opened a request for proposals seeking wireless charging manufacturers to develop, install, and support a planned stationary Inductive Charging Showcase at its central administration building. The showcase will allow multiple manufacturers to demonstrate the interoperability and functionality of their charging systems and will enable PTC to evaluate the interfacing capabilities and billing aspects associated with inductive charging. Up to 20 parking spaces will be used for the showcase.
