Background and Award Information

The Port of Long Beach has issued two Requests for Proposals (RFP) for its incentive programs. The first RFP is for its Zero-Emission Terminal Transformation Incentive Program, which will fund the purchase of zero-emission cargo handling equipment and associated charging equipment.

The second RFP is for its Commercial Harbor Craft Incentive Program, which funds the repower, replacement or retrofit of propulsion engines in commercial harbor craft operating within the Port of Long Beach. Applicants must provide a minimum of 20 percent match for both opportunities.

Port tenants that own and operate cargo handling equipment.

Proposals are due June 13, 2025.
