Background and Award Information

The Port of Long Beach will release a Request for Proposals for Facility Improvements projects under the Community Grants Program on October 28, 2025. A total of $2.5 million in funding will be allocated to support a variety of projects including electric fleet vehicles and charging stations.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible facilities include places such as schools, senior centers, churches, daycare centers, WIC offices and prenatal clinics serving children, pregnant women, older adults or people with chronic illnesses in neighborhoods within the Priority Zone near the Port and the 710 Freeway corridor.

Important Dates

A pre-application webinar will be held November 13, 2025. Applications will be due February 3, 2026.
