Background and Award Information

The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District is expected to open off-road applications for its 2025 Community Air Quality Grant Solicitation on June 2, 2025. At least $2 million in funding will be made available to help replace older off-road tractors, forklifts, and other combustion-powered equipment with clean technology within Sacramento County. Funding is subject to Carl Moyer Program guidelines.
