Background and Award Information

Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District has announced the opening of on-road and infrastructure applications for its 2025 Community Air Quality Grant Solicitation. Off-road applications for the 2025 solicitation will open in June 2025. $13 million in funding is available for projects in Sacramento County.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible projects include replacing existing heavy-duty vehicles with zero-emission trucks and buses, replacing older farm and industrial equipment with equipment certified to current emission standards or better, and installing low-carbon infrastructure. Eligible applicants include businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, and other entities.

Important Dates

On-road and infrastructure applications will close June 16, 2025.
