Background and Award Information

The South Carolina Energy Office has announced Round 3 funding from the US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant Program which aims to award grants to projects and programs that improve energy efficiency, cut carbon emissions, and reduce energy use in South Carolina.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible entities include counties or municipalities, local public authorities, school districts, state agencies, and any other governmental entity.

Important Dates

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, pending available funding, through December 1, 2025. An informational webinar will be held on September 23, 2025 at 2pm ET.
