Background and Award Information

Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) has released a call for project nominations to receive a portion of two federal funding sources totaling an estimated $1.2 billion for the federal fiscal year 2026–27 and federal fiscal year 2027–28, including the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program and the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program. Applications are subject to all federal requirements for these funds and clean transportation is a regional priority for SCAG’s solicitation.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants include SCAG cities, counties, transit agencies, federally recognized tribal governments, and county transportation commissions.
