Background and Award Information

The Virginia Department of Energy has launched the Southwest Virginia (SWVA) Hydrogen Program to encourage hydrogen production in the SWVA region that explore avenues to produce blue and green hydrogen. This funding also aims to provide opportunities for new industries to grow in SWVA. $750,000 of funding is available with sub-awards up to $250,000.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants include governmental organizations, foreign public entities, non-profit and for-profit organizations.
