Background and Award Information

The State of Washington’s Department of Ecology plans to announce the next round of funding for electric vehicle charging infrastructure through the Charge Where You Are program. A total of $2 million in grant funding is available for this round.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible applicants include businesses, nonprofit organizations, public entities, and Tribal governments. Projects must involve the installation of four to 10 Level 2 charging plugs at multi-unit residential properties, publicly accessible locations, or for fleet and workplace use.

Important Dates

Applications are anticipated to open July 8, 2025 and will close August 21, 2025.
