Background and Award Information

The Washington State Department of Commerce released a request for applications to join the third cohort of the Innovation Cluster Accelerator Program. Clusters should seek to strengthen industry ecosystems and accelerate economic development. Clusters must have academic membership and have a demonstrated commitment to reduce and mitigate impacts from greenhouse gases in overburdened communities, deploy renewable energy resources, or increase energy efficiency or reduction. A total of $970,000 in funding is available with a maximum of $150,000 per contract.

Eligible Applicants

Eligible prime applicants include local governments, federally recognized tribal governments and tribes contracted service providers, public and private utilities, ports, associated development organizations, for-profit entities, academic and research organizations, non-profit organizations, and state agencies.
