Background and Award Information

NYSERDA has announced $8 million in funding is now available to support the development of innovative low-carbon fuels projects in New York State. This funding is specifically targeting pilot and demonstration projects that convert waste into low-carbon fuels. Eligible fuels include sustainable aviation fuel, renewable natural gas, renewable diesel, clean methanol, and their corresponding e-fuel variants. Hydrogen, ammonia, and biogas are not considered eligible fuels for this solicitation.
