The Center for Transportation and the Environment works to improve the health of our climate and communities by bringing people together to develop and commercialize clean, efficient, and sustainable transportation technologies.
What We Do
CTE’s four core programs areas align directly with the necessary path to take technology from conception to commercialization. In addition to supporting industry and user operators directly through our Prototype Development, Smart Deployment, and Fleet Transition Planning services, we support the entire transportation community through our overarching Education, Outreach, and Advocacy program.
We support technology providers by finding funding for and managing technology research.
We support early adopters by providing the best technical solutions for initial deployments.
We develop strategic plans to help fleet operators achieve full electrification.
We help organizations of all shapes and sizes stay ahead of the technology curve.
