Background and Award Information

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) has announced the reopening of the state’s Clean Diesel Grant Program and is seeking proposals for eligible diesel emission reduction projects. This new funding opportunity provides up to a 60% reimbursement for eligible projects from public entities such as municipalities, state agencies, public school districts, public community colleges/universities, and public transit agencies. NHDES has approximately $315,000 available for diesel emissions reduction project awards.

Applications are accepted on a rolling monthly basis until all remaining funding has been obligated.
