Background and Award Information

The Washington Department of Commerce has announced the availability of approximately $32 million in funding to plan for or construct clean energy projects in Washington. Eligible projects include planning and predevelopment or construction projects for solar, energy storage, grid resilience, wind, biomass, renewable hydrogen, geothermal, and other technologies that use renewable resources to enhance Washington’s clean energy economy. Awards will range from $50,000 to $2.5 million.

Important Dates

A pre-application conference will be held October 15, 2025 and questions will close October 24, 2025. Applications are due November 4, 2025.
