Background and Award Information

Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) is administering the Alaska Rural Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Deployment Project with approximately $2.09 million in available funding to support EVSE planning, community engagement, technical assistance, and identification of priority charging locations in rural and remote Alaska communities. The program is designed to reduce barriers to electric vehicle adoption and advance equitable access to EV charging infrastructure, with participation coordinated by AEA in collaboration with selected communities, utilities, and partners throughout the program’s performance period.

This program plans to remain open until March 31, 2027.
