Background and Award Information

The Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality has announced available funding under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Diesel Emissions Reduction Act. The Go RED! Program provides funding for projects that reduce diesel emissions from Class 5-8 highway trucks, buses, marine engines, locomotives, and nonroad engines. The program has a monthly rolling deadline for application submissions until funds are awarded. Any public, private, or nonprofit entity in Arkansas are eligible to apply. Eligible projects include vehicle replacements, engine replacements, idle reduction technologies, and retrofit technologies.

Important Dates

The first round of applications are due July 30, 2026 with applications due monthly on that last day of each month until available funds are awarded, or until November 30, 2026.
