Background and Award Information

Eligible projects include but are not limited to indoor air quality improvements, energy efficiency, air pollution monitoring, emissions reduction and exposure strategies, public health strategies, and just transition strategies. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, local governments, schools, tribes, and unions serving Benicia, Richmond, and surrounding eligible communities.

Important Dates

A workshop for projects in Benicia and surrounding communities will be held February 18, 2026 and applications in Benicia are due May 1, 2026.

A workshop for projects in Richmond and surrounding communities will be held February 19, 2026 and all other applications are due May 29, 2026.
