Background and Award Information

California Energy Commission is soliciting projects that will deploy medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicle charging or hydrogen refueling infrastructure serving California seaports and land ports of entry. Funding will support the installation of charging and fueling infrastructure for battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, port equipment, and off-road equipment including gantries and cargo handling equipment. Up to $40 million in funding is available.
