Background and Award Information

The California Energy Commission has announced the availability of $22 million in Clean Transportation Program funds for projects that will install electric vehicle charging infrastructure for electric school buses. This opportunity includes both first come, first served and competitive funding.

An optional pre-application workshop will be held April 16, 2026. Applications are due June 5, 2026.
