Background and Award Information

The Colorado Energy Office has reopened the state’s September 2025 Charge Ahead Colorado standard and multifamily housing portfolio lane application, now open until February 13, 2026. The Charge Ahead grant program offers funding for electric vehicle (EV) charging statewide for community, multifamily housing, workplace, or other publicly available EV charging. Eligible applicants include any public, private, or non-profit entities, with the program offering up to $250,000 in funding per applicant via the standard application, and up to $500,000 via the multifamily housing lane.
