Background and Award Information

The City of Adelanto, California and the Adelanto Public Utility Authority are soliciting proposals from private-sector entities for the development, financing, construction, ownership, and operation of a clean hydrogen production. The City seeks a long-term partner to establish a hydrogen production facility designed to: supply clean hydrogen to heavy marine, port-adjacent, and heavy-duty transportation customers; enable phased expansion as offtake demand grows; attract advanced manufacturing, energy technology, and workforce development to Adelanto; and serve as a foundational asset within a broader Advanced Green Industry Park.
