Background and Award Information

The City of Watertown is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide Mobile Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging solution to support the operational needs of the emergency response fleet. The project includes the procurement of a reliable, transportable, and scalable mobile EV charging platform capable of delivering high-power DC fast charging to multiple vehicles simultaneously, particularly during emergencies, infrastructure disruptions, or locations where fixed charging infrastructure may be unavailable. The selected solution is intended to support fleet resiliency and align with the City’s long-term electrification strategy.
