Background and Award Information

The Colorado Energy Office has announced the fifth cycle of the Colorado Industrial Tax Credit Offering (CITCO) is now open. CITCO is a refundable tax credit program designed to support industrial facilities in implementing projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, and lower operating costs. With a total of $168 million available, the program provides competitive tax credits of up to $8 million per project to offset the cost of deploying emissions reduction technologies.
