Background and Award Information
The Delaware Department of Transportation has released Round 2 of its National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program, providing up to $8 million in competitive funding to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of publicly accessible electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the state. The program supports Level 2 and DCFC projects located along alternative fuel corridors and in communities with limited access to private charging, including multifamily housing areas. Eligible applicants include municipalities, charging developers, site hosts, and other organizations capable of deploying and operating EV charging infrastructure, with projects generally requiring a non-federal cost share.
