The Employment Training Panel has announced the availability of $2.7 million in funding to increase the number of electricians certified through the Electric Vehicle Training Program within California by training and certifying electricians to install electric vehicle charging equipment.

A grant orientation will be held July 7, 2026 and applications are due July 31, 2026.
