Background and Award Information

Golden Empire Transit District is soliciting proposals from qualified bidders to design, build and install a liquid hydrogen storage system to reduce boil-off losses associated with liquid hydrogen refueling at its site in Bakersfield, California. Golden Empire Transit District’s performance target is zero loss during hydrogen transfer to the hydrogen storage tank and during daily hydrogen dispensing.
