Background and Award Information

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) has amended its Granite State Clean Fleets (GSCF) request for proposals, releasing an additional $750,000 in funding for a total of $1.5 million available. The GSCF program provides reimbursement grants to scrap and replace older diesel-powered vehicles, engines, and equipment with newer, cleaner alternative-fuel or diesel units, as well as marine shore power installation projects. Qualifying private and non-profit organizations are now eligible to apply, in addition to public entities. NHDES is accepting applications on a rolling monthly basis until all funds have been obligated.

Important Dates

Applications due on the last day of every month. The next deadline is July 31, 2026.
