Background and Award Information
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is opening a new round of its Climate and Equitable Jobs Act EV Charging program for applicants aiming to deploy new, commercial grade Level 2 and 3 charging stations located at publicly accessible charging station locations in Illinois. Additional funding will be awarded to projects located in Equity Investment Eligible Communities. A total of $20 million is available through this program. Projects will be scored as they are submitted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a minimum score of 50 required for a project to be funded.
