Background and Award Information

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) has issued an RFP, funded by the U.S. EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) Program, to select a qualified firm to serve as the Clean Fleet and Freight Concierge for Northern Illinois (the PJM grid territory). The selected firm will provide tailored electrification support to small and medium-sized fleets of up to 30 vehicles, including fleet needs assessments, operational and total-cost-of-ownership analyses, incentive guidance, and recommended charging infrastructure investments. The concierge will also promote these services at events statewide and coordinate with IEPA and related CPRG workforce training and freight planning efforts. This solicitation covers the Northern region only; a separate concierge serves Southern Illinois (the MISO territory).
