Background and Award Information
The Indiana Office of Energy Development (OED) has announced approximately $1 million in funding through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program to support energy affordability and conservation efforts for local communities. Eligible applicants include cities, towns, and counties in Indiana. Grant funds may be used for energy planning, energy audits, building upgrades, and electric transportation projects. Awards are capped at $200,000 in funding per project, with total project costs not to exceed $250,000 including match or other support. A match is encouraged but not required. Projects must be completed within 12 months of award.
