Background and Award Information

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is accepting applications for projects that will replace or repower diesel airport ground support equipment, freight switchers, trucks, and buses with less-polluting alternatives, including zero-emission equivalents. More than $10 million is available through this funding opportunity, with individual awards capped at $2 million. At least 75% of the annual miles that new vehicles will be driven must be within the state of Kansas.
