Background and Award Information

Long Beach Transit is soliciting proposals from qualified naval architecture firms or shipbuilders for the design and delivery of a 30 to 40 passenger zero or battery electric commuter ferry. In addition, solicitation of proposals will include the design and construction of infrastructure to support the battery electric commuter ferry services across the long beach harbor and to nearby destinations.
