Background and Award Information

The Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District (MetroLINK) has released an RFP seeking qualified firms to support the design, procurement, and commissioning of one battery-electric small passenger ferry vessel and associated charging infrastructure. The project includes identification and specification of a charging system and coordination of supporting electrical infrastructure installation as part of a broader effort to advance zero-emission maritime transportation.
