Background and Award Information
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has opened the second Request for Proposals under the Clean Fuel and Charging Infrastructure Program, making $10 million in initial funding available to support publicly accessible Level 2 alternating current and direct current fast charging electric vehicle charging stations across the state. Individual awards are capped at $500,000, and applicants must provide a minimum 20–40 percent match depending on project location.
