Background and Award Information

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has released the Clean Energy Workforce Development Program, providing $250,000 in grant funding to support education, training, apprenticeships, and career pathways related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean energy technologies across Michigan. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations and small businesses located in Michigan. EGLE will be allocating individual awards ranging from $5,000 to $50,00, with funding provided on a reimbursement basis. Eligible expenditures include contractual services, supplies/materials, and equipment items.
