Background and Award Information

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, in partnership with the New York State Department of Transportation, is offering $45 million in funding through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Alternative Fuels Corridors and Community Program to install more electric vehicle fast chargers. The program seeks proposals from EV infrastructure developers to install and operate Direct Current Fast Charger stations at one or more sites along federally designated highway corridors, as well as other sites that support community charging in specified areas of New York State.
